About Us
Mandate that flows from the Mission Statement
As staff working with the Oblates we are dedicated to planning and hosting programs that cultivate evangelization to meet the needs of the 21st century culture. This mission includes offering a place for personal spiritual growth through spiritual direction and evening/day series ascribed for this purpose; working in collaboration with the Diocese of Saskatoon; proclaiming unity through our commitment to ecumenical and multi-faith dialogue; maintaining a focus of solidarity with the poor and the marginalised, serving the local community first and reaching outward and beyond as need is brought to our attention. It also includes: releasing the artistic and creative potential in the human spirit that strives to overcome unhealthy conformity; encouraging radically positive, healing solutions ecologically, economically, politically and religiously for our world. Just as the mission of Jesus Christ was a non-violent one, at this time of increasing violence in our world we see ourselves proclaiming the non-violent Christ to assist us and others in becoming more efficient agents of Christ's peace to the world.
