Are you Interested in Volunteering?
"There is a variety of gifts but always the same Spirit;

Purpose
Queen's House invites you, women and men, to participate in our Oblate charism of hospitality at our retreat and renewal centre. Through this volunteering, your creative talents, unique interests, and skills can be affirmed and nurtured. Through the mutual sharing of these gifts - our mission of hospitality at Queen's House is strengthened and the quality of life for our retreatants, clients, staff, priests and religious is enhanced.
Role
You, the volunteer, give freely of your time and talents in an area of your preferred choice. People of all ages who have a sense of commitment, a love of service and a desire to be part of the Queen's House and Oblate community are most welcome.
Services
Queen's House welcomes your gifts and talents in various ministries, such as:
music ministry
secretarial/clerical duties (typing, filing, photocopying, mail outs, etc)
receptionists duties
hospitality (welcomers)
technology/computer and design skills
librarian responsibilities
housekeeping
fund raising
gardening (flower beds,etc)
and your spiritual presence
Time of Service
Volunteer services would be welcomed on a regular, occasional, or seasonal basis. These services could be weekly or as the need arises. It could be as little as a few hours per month or as much as a couple of days per week. Whatever the amount of time volunteered will be helpful and very much appreciated.
